Original Black Universal Whisker Buscuit

With being an avid archery hunter going on 30+ years, my biggest pet peeve over the years was the ability to keep the arrow from always falling off the rest at the most inopportune moment like with having that deer in your sights at full draw. No more worrying about the arrow falling off the rest with the whisker biscuit. So far with going out every night and shooting between 30 to 40 arrows, the whisker biscuit has performed well.

I have tried just about everything out there and this is the closest to perfection of doing just that. My only concern is just how long it will last with shooting 30 to 40 arrows a night. Time will tell. One thing to keep in mind when going out to buy this unit is that it comes in two different styles. One is for the aluminum and the other for carbon arrows. Make sure you get the one you need and the arrows to match.

Update....

I have now used the Whisker Buscuit for the past three weeks. One of the things that stands out for me is how the plastic whiskers do not effect the flight of the arrow one bit. If your like me, another issues was having the arrow fall off the rest at the most inopportune moment as the deer was approaching or going back to full draw.

I ended up harvesting a nice spike horn buck with the new bow and set-up and am pleased with the whole package. If your looking at adding something that will make your life easier...the Whisker Buscuit is just the ticket. This item can be purchased at your local Wal-Mart for around forty bucks or from other area archery and sporting goods stores.

Personally I would also suggest that you have a trained archery tech install it for you if you are unsure how to do it. We had Rick at North Woods Outfitters do the set-up. North Woods Outfitters
